jobs are plentiful and pay high wages, and people that had left for better jobs are rushing back to the Baltics now, males that had abandoned their children have returned and have quit drinking booze and now pay child support, people on pension recive the same money as Western European pension recipents and Estonia will be richest country on earth, and Estonia will pay back EVERY Euro/Mark they have received since 1991 as help from Western Europe, with 4% interest- and pigs can fly. Or Sweden:

A country with an already developped economy (so in theory less opportunity for growth), high taxation, expansive welfare, that manages to grow with 5% in one year. Reply to the comment answer

... and of course there are poor people only in Estland, nowhere else... right?

in every country in every given time at least 5% of population is desperatly poor... because it is THEIR choice!

Well, there are not so many countries in the EU where atleast 60% of the peaople are on poverty risk. Estonia is one of them.

Cheers, Anders,
You're a sharp shooter and hard-hitter as always. Keep thinking your ways and outsmarting the dogma-obsessed bunch of narrow-minded idiots like Krugman. And devote a similar piece to Russland, looking back at her lousy doings in 2011 and through crises. Reply to the comment answer
