No doubt Helenius and Taskila duo were steering the airline into crash-landing. Seems like Taskila was a bad student at airBaltic, did not learn anything. he knew very well what is the cost of inflating passenger numbers, and now it is even all over the press Reply to the comment answer

I think number inflation doesn't make much of a difference -- it's the profits that count. EA has announced their passenger numbers are up (and gladly provide exact numbers), but financial results are disappointing (and fail to provide those numbers):

Well, it's ultimately in the hand of the people wether they want to bailout EA any further, through democratic measurments: take to the streets to collect signatures, make a lot of noise - that are the means by which this country is fighting on language issues in schools. However, I fear there is no majority against the debt policy, because the people here love to squander borrowed money by roughly 90% of Estonia's GDP accumulated in private debt alone.
