It's that arrogance that led to the euro crisis. The big boys thought they could break the rules while telling the smaller countries not too, but then Greece decided to play that game in spades. Good going, dipsh-ts.

Estonia and other countries which receive large large amounts of EU funding, which helps their economy to survive etc..., sure dare to speak out a lot.

If they would survive without these funding, have their own economy running, then maybe such comments are at place? Reply to the comment answer

Pay 0.9, receive 4.5 sounds like a good deal:

2007 marked the beginning of a new 7-year budgetary period for the EU. The financial perspective for 2007-2013 focuses on the integration of a common market and the development of economic, social, and environmental policies.

During the budgetary period, Estonia will get over 4.5 billion euros from the EU budget (2004 standing price; estimated nominally 4.8 billion euros), of which close to 3.3 billion will go to regional aid, about 0.6 billion to rural life, and about 0.5 billion to support agriculture. Estonia will contribute about 0.9 billion euros to the EU budget over 7 years. Reply to the comment answer
