Tallink carried over a million passengers in July
05.08.2010, 13:14Estonia's listed ferry group Tallink said it carried 1,092,823 passengers in July or nearly 4% more than a year earlier.
Annually, the number of passengers increased 9.6% (474,853 passengers) on Estonia-Finland line, 1.6% on Latvia-Sweden line (76,876) and 1.1% on Estonia-Sweden line (103,852).
The figure fell 15.3% to 15,306 for Finland-Germany line and 0.5% on Finland-Sweden line (421,936).
The company said the number of passenger vehicles increased 11% to 147 217, while the number of trucks and trailers increased by over 13% to 21,478 units.
As for cargo units, its increased 13.3% to 21,478 units, hacing increased 41% on Latvia-Sweden lin, 20% on Finland-Sweden line and 13% on Estonia-Sweden line.
