The Chinese New Year carnival cost the city 43,700 euros

The Tallinn City Government said it had allocated 43,700 euros to cover the cost of the festivities related to the Chinese New Year that were held last Monday in the Kadriorg Park in Tallinn.

In comparison, a year ago the City allocated about 78,000 euros for the festivities.

The show included the opening of a large dragon-shaped ice sculpture and a concert by Chinese performers.
