Estonian average unemployment rate at 12.5 percent in 2011

According to the data of the Labour Force Survey, there were 79,000 unemployed in Estonia at the end of 2011 and the unemployment rate was 11.4 percent.

The annual average unemployment rate was 12.5 percent in 2011 or 4.4 percent lower than in 2010.

At the end of the third quarter, the number of unemployed was 77,000 people and the unemployment rate was 10.9 percent.

The estimated number of employed persons is 615,000.
