Laesti launches second sawmill in Sauga
30.04.2012, 15:36Laesti, the Estonian subsidiary of Norvik Timber Industries, has lauched its second
sawmill in Sauga on April 26.
“The construction process took just over a year and was accomplished within budget”, says Olavi Tang, CEO of Laesti.
The sawmill will increase Laesti’s annual production to 80 000 cbm of sawn timber and the sawmill will primarily produce from small diameter logs.
“We see Estonia as a strategic country where we want to grow our presence and the Laesti Sauga sawmill project supports this”, said Sampsa Auvinen, CEO of Norvik Timber Industries.
