Accountant steals 400,000 euros from two logistics companies

Olga Sepp, an accountant who worked in Dekoil until 2009, has pleaded guilty in a trial where she was accused of having stolen a total of 400,000 euros from two companies, writes Äripäev.

The two victims of Sepp were Dekoil, a subsidiary of BLRT Grupp, and Beta Terminal.

Between 2008 and 2009, Sepp stole 271,212 euros from othe bank account of Dekoil and 128,333 euros from the bank account of Beta Terminal.

Sepp stole the money by using forged invoices and then made the transfers without asking the permission of Dekoil’s executives.

Among others, she bought furniture and equipment for her beauty parlour from the funds.

The woman said that she donated about 10,000 euros of the stolen funds to the Orthodox Church.

Sepp got a conditional three-year prison sentence.

She was ordered to pay the two companies back a total of 350,000 euros plus legal fees in the amount of 15,000 euros.
