Eesti Energia's CFO named Estonia's most influential finance director

Margus Kaasik, chief financial officer of Eesti Energia, state-owned power company, has won the award as Estonia's most influential finance director, writes Äripäev.

Commenting Kaasik's work, Sandor Liive, CEO of Eesti Energia, said that  a good financial director is the company's conscience as he takes an independent and sober view on the company's investment and development plans and their feasibility.

Kaasik who is employed in Eesti Energia since 1999 won the award ahead of Kerli Lõhmus (CFO of LHV Pank), Katrin Kendra (chief finance director of City of Tallinn), Katrin Rasmann (CFO of Stora Enso) and Veiko Haavapuu (CFO of Statoil Estonia).
