"Our aim is to provide flexible and high quality services to corporate clients and larger private clients. The bank's name change is one part of the changes caused by change of ownership," said the bank's board chairman Riho Rasmann.

Versobank's brand change will be completed by the middle of June. All of the symbolics of the bank will be replaced by then.

At the end of March, Ukrainian industrial company Ukrselhosprom acquired 70.5427% of Marfin Pank Eesti AS shares that had belonged so far to Marfin Popular Bank Public Co Ltd. Ukrselhosprom is a part of Ukrainian industrial consortium Alef.
