Tallink sees passenger number increase by 5% in May

In May 2012, Estonia’s largest passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp transported 736,464 passengers which is nearly a 5% increase compared to May 2011.

The number of passenger vehicles increased over 7% to 92,258 and trucks and trailers decreased more than 6% to 25,235 units in same comparison.

The number of passengers on the Finland-Sweden route grew by 2.1%; on the Estonia-Finland route it grew by 8.3%, on the Estonia-Sweden route it grew by 0.9%.
