Streetlight falls on American tourists injuring three in Tallinn Old Town

Three American tourists were injured in Old Town on Friday when a lamppost fell over onto them, reported ERR News..

At 9 am, a tourist bus letting off passengers in Toompea backed up against a street light and knocked it over onto the sidewalk, according to a press release from the police. Two suffered head injuries and the third a leg injury.

The injured tourists, two women and one man, were taken to a hospital.

According to Delfi, one person was in a severe condition. The tourists were reportedly walking in a group of 30 who had arrived in Tallinn by cruise ship for a one-day stay.
